Know what happens, when it happens…

Subscribers are notified as soon as a user activates or deactivates the security system. Up to three people can receive these messages at once. What’s more, depending on the various sensors and detectors linked to the system, TeleGARDTM can also send other special signals to help you react quickly to situations such as a broken freezer or a flooded basement at the cottage. Another benefit is that TeleGARDTM does not require installation of a specific brand, model, or device. It works with most security systems and all devices that can receive digital or alphanumeric messages.

QualiGARDTM extended service plan

QualiGARDTM extended service plan ensures the optimal performance of your system, without the worry of unexpective repair bills. With QualiGARDTM your investment is protected and the cost of parts and labour is covered.1 If you encounter an issue with your alarm system, simply give us a call. If we are unable to resolve the issue, we will schedule a technician to repair your system. QualiGARDTM also includes the additional benefit of ProGARDTM.

ProGARDTM insurance deductible coverage

 With ProGARDTM, we will pay your insurance deductible – up to $1,000 – for claims following a theft or fire that occurs while the security system is armed.1

  • Maximum reimbursement of $1,000 once per 12-month period

Guard response service and guard duty

Guard response service  

A false alarm can incur costs. To help you avoid this irritation, we offer a service that sends uniformed guards to your home if an alarm is triggered. The guard performs a perimeter check and identifies the cause of the alarm. 

Guard duty service

In case of:

  • Attempted burglary
  • Fire
  • Situations where your security system needs to remain disarmed

A security guard is dispatched to the site to provide onsite monitoring, and will stay until you feel safe (e.g. until after a broken window is boarded up).

Two-way voice response

Whatever the emergency, the two-way voice response system allows our agents to collect information whenever needed and ensure appropriate and effective action. 

  • Microphone and speaker in the keypad so if the alarm is triggered, we can easily interact. In the event of an unjustified alarm or suspicious sounds, we take appropriate action.
  • Medical alert button on your keypad or wireless personal pendant):
    • The agent contacts you to determine the nature of alert and in turn explain the situation to emergency services so that your case gets priority, if need be.
    • If we cannot reach you, we dispatch emergency services to your location.
    • If you press the panic button (found on the keypad), the agent can listen in without speaking to find out if you’re in danger

More secure than conventional phone lines and more affordable than supervised lines, SkyGARD-CTM gives you added protection.

  • If the main phone line is down (malfunction or vandalism), the alarm signals are sent by a cellular transmitter.
  • Based on wireless transmission, this solution is free from physical outside disturbance.
  • It can also be used as a primary communication line when no telephone connection is available.1
